This was my first commissioned full branding work back in 2011. I worked independently with National Stadium Directors board. Too often, I experimented with various variants for the logo and what it should represent.
As a graphic designer who is also lover of architectural structures and grids, I wanted to go in that direction for the stadium as well. I have used stadiums image as a starting point to show its roof consisting of numbers of pillars and divisions. This is something that is very characteristic and all Georgians can guess what it is.
Unfortunately, Dinamo rebranded itself along with Dinamo Tbilisi Club in 2015 again. They have displayed this logo on shelf but I hope this will come back as it is a very strong and elegant mark for the stadium.
